Design Intern

Job description

Hey designer, we're looking for you! We're currently seeking a motivated digital designer (intern) to join us in working on some exciting projects. We're currently collaborating with various clients such as Tony Chocolonely, Boldking, Atomic, Suitsupply, Artis, and more.

Who are we?

Remember the feeling from your childhood, strolling through a bookstore or candy store, filled with wonder, joy, and imagination? That's exactly the feeling we aim to evoke digitally at Analogue. Analogue represents analog experiences in digital media. We collaborate with multiple agencies and clients to create unique e-commerce platforms and stores, ranging from small webshops to online flagship stores.

Our co-founder and creative director, Julian Mollema, began his digital journey over 14 years ago and has since won several awards including Webby's, AWWWARDS, Lovies, and others. Collaborating on exciting projects and nurturing new talent is one of our driving forces.

What will you do

We're seeking a digital design intern to closely collaborate with Julian and the design team on multiple exciting projects. Your work will primarily involve brainstorming and developing product ideas and translating them into designs. You'll also collaborate with developers and learn how to prepare files for them.

What we'd love to see in you

  • You're driven.

  • You're eager to develop yourself and bring ideas to life.

  • A starting portfolio showcasing design work.

  • Experience with Figma and Adobe CC.

Experience of previous internships

Sophie Folmer (23), intern first and second semester 2022, on Analogue:

At Analogue, you work in a small but professional team where you're involved in all design tasks. You receive one-on-one guidance, which along with the warm atmosphere, fosters a strong team spirit. In projects, I often got to voice my opinion, and there was always room for my creative input. For me, it's been a highly educational period. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to continue working at Analogue after my internship.

Faye Kostopoulos (21), intern second semester 2022, CMD student:

During my internship at Analogue, I've grown in my design skills. I've had the opportunity to closely witness both branding and website development processes. I've worked on various projects and gradually gained more responsibility. After my internship, I continued working part-time at Analogue.

What we offer you

  • A fantastic workplace in the heart of Amsterdam.

  • A challenging, responsible role.

  • Daily masterclasses from our creative director.

  • Credits for award contests.

  • A Mac and 27” monitor.

  • Internship compensation: €350 gross.

  • Opportunity for a permanent position.

Other benefits

  • Flexible hours

  • Discount on Analogue products and merch

  • Company-provided equipment

  • Commuter benefits

  • Free snacks and drinks
